I didn’t get a ton of photos from the night but if you want to see more photos of attendees and artwork check out LAWeekly’s coverage here!
I took photos of all my favorite ponies on display! ｡◕‿◕｡
Japanese fashion designer Shojono Tomo shares her opinion about Harajuku as a place where girls can go to be special, talks about her collaborations with Nicki Minaj & lots more!
Oh also she mentions the next Sweet Streets My Little Pony Project! It’s going to start in Los Angeles on May 5th and I am SO TOTALLY THERE! Event details can be found here
My first hand account, behind the scenes from my perspective, of Sweet Streets November 19th, 2011!
Note to self = Buy a crimping iron
This is almost everything I got last weekend (forgot the tights, welp) I’m so happy with everything I got! The space poppin dress is made of this really soft nice knit material and criss-crosses in the back. The Ice cream dress is super fun and fits great! (o´ω｀o)
The Shirt I got is a one of kind item, and it was actually hand-painted by Maga, former manager of Ticket to Darling! I love the glitter details, and the cat ლ(╹◡╹ლ)
Tavuchi approached me after the even and asked me to keep the bow I wore in the fashion show, she said she was inspired by me to make it and that I should have it because I’m awesome… I’m serious! That’s what she said to me, I’m not making that up! (•⊙ω⊙•)
What I received in my gift bag for being a model was the black tote, a pair of grey sweet heart leggings, and the pink chubby bunny bow (it is so glamorous) I’m still in complete SHOCK from everything! ノ◕ヮ◕ ノ ・゚✧
I managed to get a photo with Shojono Tomo!! I was so happy to meet her, and talk with her! She seriously has the most beautiful mind and the most vivid imagination, which you can see in her artwork! She said she liked my nails because purple is her “lucky color” she was so sweet!
BTW this is what I wore after we got dressed out of our fashion show garb :)
This girl was wearing the exact dress/outfit that Nicki Minaj wore! It was great to be able to see sort of a live exhibit of Shojono Tomo’s artwork in person! I didn’t catch this girl’s name though. (╯︵╰,)
My friend Sandy dressed up as a unicorn! I think the styling for the unicorn pair was my absolute favorite, the way they did they hair in curly faux-hawks made them look like manes, and they both had unicorn mufflers!
